It sucks ass to be 50 Cent right now seeing as he’s losing the ludicrously self indulgent bet with Kanye West he himself set up for publicity purposes with reports that Kanye has outsold 50 in the UK, he’s cancelling performances in the UK AND he’s being sued.
Sources seem pretty happy with the assumption that 50 will lose the bet and therefore will have to confront his own massively inflated ego with a pin and pop it but also, producer Carlos Evans has slapped 50 with a lawsuit claiming that he’s owed royalties from a song that 50 did with L ‘il Kim.
There are a few celebrities that are just really being kicked as they roll around on the ground in agony right now. Britney is one, that’s obvious. Then there’s Amy Winehouse who seems to be kicking herself a lot and 50 as well. Incidentally, I feel stupid talking about someone and calling them a number. It IS asking too much to call him “Fitty” because what the hell kind of name is “Fitty”? It’s a stupid name. As a result, I’m just going to call him Curtis.
So, anyway, this - as I’ve said before – is going to eventually work out for Curtis. He’s been playing the underdog victim forever anyway with his “I’ve been shot 9 times” angle so when he loses the bet about who would sell more records between himself and Kanye West, Kanye will look all righteous and crap while Curtis will see just like a slightly bludgeoned victim that millions of people will be able to identify with. This will be just like him getting shot again and having been shot is one of the things that keeps him famous. He doesn’t need a degree – he was shot. Everyone wins when shotguns are involved.
