Cruise Corp. is winding himself up to organize a cripplingly expensive fundraising dinner (a mere $100,000 a table) so that he can insert his own unique, Christ-like brand of cult/hype based detox treatments for living victims of 9/11 (apparently the treatment is based on a eating a lot of niacin while sitting in saunas – hell, who cares what it’s based on, Cruise Corp says it’ll get us on the mothership so, whatever. I’m buying. Quick get a second mortgage on the house!). Cruise Corp is urging afflicted 9/11 rescue workers to cease their prescribed medication. And why NOT? Why not listen to a hyper active bipolar control freak with an unchecked God complex who has systematically whittled away all evidence that he was once capable of human emotion so he could maximize profits when it comes to complex health issues. Reject your glib doctor, Cruise Corp knows better! New York City is actually not endorsing the dinner in any way. [source]

Before anyone comments they might want to actually look at the statistics and data regarding the program. It is highly successful and is credited with saving many lives.

Proof Tom Cruise's Scientology rehab is shit.

http://www.nydetox.org/gallery6.htm

"Patients at the detoxification facility have stained towels blue, purple, yellow, orange, green and black. Black sludge, glass shards, and other matter have been observed to be coming out of the pores of program participants."

Now read that very carefully and see what does not make sense.

As I'm not a doctor, I'm not going to comment either way on the effectiveness of the treatment.

Two things remain unanswered though:

1) What are the long term effects of this detox treatment and to what extent is the Church of Scientology able to cope with the different reactions patients have to the treatment. Cult members don't have the same all encompassing understanding of the body that doctors do. Why is that too difficult to understand?

And secondly, if the best treatment available to the living victims of 9/11 poisoning comes from a cult then it's a sad indictment on the City of New York and the Federal Government for not providing its citizens with adequate attention and care.
