Oh what a surprise, Paris Hilton’s new film, “The Hottie and the Nottie” has been voted the worst movie on imdb after scoring just 1.2 out of 10 from voter input. The lowest score ever. It’s literally #1 on the Bottom 100 films on imdb and that includes films that go back 30 years.
Here’s what’s been written about its box office performance:

The movie took just $27,696 in 111 cinemas across the U.S. last weekend (08-10Feb08), meaning an average of just 31 people per theatre watched The Hottie And The Nottie over the three-day period.

And of all the comments/digestive eruptions this film has inspired, this gem from Coltonbrassie is my favourite:

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Not even The Godfather had a message as beautiful and well-put as The Hottie and the Nottie. This is not just a movie--it's an experience. I've never seen such a ridiculously emotion-laden masterpiece.

And then there’s:

i just vomited all over this 'hottie'
from Arizona_dps.

Yep, Arizona_dps, you sure, did. We all have in our own way.

I’m trying to think of a film that could possibly be worse than The Hottie and the Nottie and I’m really drawing a blank. All the elements of crapulence are there for this one to confirm its bottom level status including in no small part a fading zeitgeist bimbo whore at whom massed cultural disapproval is continuously aimed. When Paris does anything but stand there in expensive clothes, saying nothing, she opens herself up to the resentment and annoyance of the entire world. You’d think that 5 years into her pointless career she’d figure that out. However, here we are again.

Actually, we might be back at this place when that film she made with Paul Sorvino comes out. When is that film coming out? The Genetic Opera where she actually sings? God, I can’t wait. I’m going to diet and exercise more than ever before so I can look great for the opening night. I won’t be invited but I’ll go and just stand on the street in the rain and marvel anyway. [source]
