Now that Britney Spears is in hospital and is officially and professionally considered “Greatly Disabled” due to the fact that she’s bipolar – being insane and carted off to a psych ward is the new black. Gee, what a freaking surprise. Courtney Love was quoted as saying:

"Marilyn Monroe was strapped to a gurney too, but, other than me and Britney, no one's ever been strapped to a gurney."

Just to make sure she is considered on the same playing field. Well, who knows with Courtney Love. It’s weird because if you read her myspace blog she rambles and her spelling is dreadful not to mention her grammar but the general gist of what she says is always essentially pretty spot on. I mean she’s a manipulative fame hungry beast of a woman but she’s still got this raw edge to her anyway.

Courtney Love’s alignment with Mademoiselle Spears is almost identical to the way that Robbie Williams aligned himself with Anna Nicole Smith when she died. Back when Anna Nicole died, Robbie Williams immediately said that he feared death as a result of her death. It was his way of linking to death without dying.

Here we’ve got Love reminding us that she was on a gurney too. She, Marilyn Monroe and Britney ONLY.

NO ONE ELSE.

PLUS, TMZ.com also graciously pointed out that Grey’s Anatomy star Justin Chambers who plays Dr. Alex Karev also just checked into the UCLA psych ward because he was having trouble sleeping. That’s the very same psych ward that Spears is in.
Celebrities do this shit like clockwork every single time something happens that gets people press. It’s been rehab, flashing genitals, buying children, claiming depression, coming out, making out with people of the same sex, dying and now checking into a psych ward or being psychotic. Excellent. Still, it’s better to be insane than fat. [source] [source]
