Unburdened, it seems, by a quest to simply function let alone a quest for excellence, Palermo’s City Hall in Italy has hired 110 bus drivers – none of whom actually have bus driving licenses. Now, all that’s left to do is simply pay them while they sit there and figure out what to do. A British man was told he was about to die of pancreatic cancer and that there was nothing anyone could do so he did what anyone else would do; he went out and spent up all his money – probably on relentless coke and whore binging – and just as he had spent the last of his money found out he wasn’t actually going to die at all.
