Malaysians currently plagued by intense laziness and sexual and emotional desperation (could there BE a more attractive combination of human attributes?) can breathe a sigh of releif this Christmas because rather than have to tediously crawl to the computer to look up the bride or hooker they want to buy, a no doubt exhausting process, Malaysia is now holding parades of mail order Vietnamese brides to really heighten public awareness of what is essentially government condoned slavery.Women hoping to be purchased from their families hang out in cafes waiting to be chosen so it's basically a brothel set up but the women never leave.
This is hot on the heels of a fundamentalist push in the town of Kota Baru, Malaysia to ban women from wearing clothes that are even remotely revealing. So, in conclusion: in Malaysia women can't be seen but they can be sold.
