It's a relief to know that while the Democrats just won back control of the Senate and the House and a tiny bit less sexual panic and denegration of the human soul for the purposes of corporate profit can be expected stateside, the promotion of sexual guilt and the repression of women is being promoted, thankfully, in Malaysia.

The little beacon of Godly virtue that is the town of Kota Baru has really solidified its place as a center of cultural relevance and innovation by banning women from dressing in anything even remotely revealing or figure hugging.

Fabulous quote from a local Muslim official:

"Such outfits are prohibited here as it smears the reputation of Kota Baru and affects its status as an Islamic city,"

Apparently no consideration has been given to the reputation of Kota Baru as a city that exists in the 21st Century in a global economy and community of adults though.
