While the Dutch are busy commemorating prostitutes with public art, they're also busy electing the first animal rights party to Parliament in the history of the world. As a first order of business they've moved to ban all mouse poison in Parliament House which should do well to enhance the hygiene of Dutch Parliament seeing as there's apparently a sizeable mouse infestation in the building.In true passive aggressive form, apparently a Christian Democrat sprinkled breadcrumbs all over the place before vacating his seat for the Animal Rights activists.
