The Reluctant Whore

Ann Coulter went on Hannity and Colmes last night and said that she would endorse and campaign for Hilary Clinton if it were a race between John McCain and Clinton.

Ok so I’m completely not sold. I looked up what had been said about it in the media so far and a couple of blogs had responded, Radar Magazine wrote something and they’re all just playing the above clip and saying “Look at the mannish conservative freak saying something controversial that will shock you.” They make reference to her apparent Adam’s Apple just to cling to a point.
I actually think Ann Coulter, all her nutcaseness aside, is pretty stunningly elegant. Great facial structure.

My immediate reaction was that she was somehow being used as a weapon of chaos – where if she supported Hilary it was supposed to somehow de-mobilise Democrats from voting for her but that’s sort of preposterous. Then I realized, the whole thing is probably a lot simpler. She’s just doing the usual schtick; saying something that we’ll talk about to sell a few books. She’s got almost a year between now and voting day so between then and now she can do whatever she wants.

What a fascinatingly press savvy, tough-as-nails, shameless self promoter.
